Classification and indicators of blockboard.

Classification
1) According to the core structure
Solid Blockboard: Blockboard made with a solid core.
Hollow Blockboard: Blockboard made with a core of checkered boards.
2) According to the splicing condition of the board core
Glue core blockboard: a blockboard made by gluing the core strips together with an adhesive to form a core.
Non-glue core blockboard: a blockboard made by combining core strips into a core without adhesives.
3) According to the surface processing of the blockboard, it is divided into three categories: single-sided sanded blockboard, double-sided sanded blockboard and non-sanded blockboard.
4) According to the use environment
Blockboard for indoor use: Blockboard for indoor use.
Blockboard for outdoor use: Blockboard for outdoor use.
5) According to the number of layers
Three-layer blockboard: a blockboard made by pasting a layer of veneer on each of the two large surfaces of the core.
Five-layer blockboard: a blockboard made of two layers of veneer pasted on each of the two large surfaces of the core.
Multi-layer blockboard: a blockboard made by pasting two or more layers of veneer on the two large surfaces of the core.
6) By use
Commonly used blockboard.
Blockboard for construction.
Index
1. formaldehyde. According to the national standard, the formaldehyde release limit climate box method index of blockboard is E1≤0.124mg/m3. The unqualified formaldehyde emission indicators of blockboards sold in the market mainly involve two aspects: one is that the formaldehyde emission exceeds the standard, which obviously poses a threat to human health; It did not reach the E1 level, but marked the E1 level. This is also ineligible.
2. Transverse bending strength. The transverse static bending strength and bonding strength reflect the ability of blockboard products to bear force and resist force deformation. There are three main reasons for the unqualified transverse bending strength. One is that the raw materials themselves are defective or decayed, and the texture of the board core is not good; the other is that the splicing technology is not up to standard during the production process; the third is that the gluing work is not done well.
3. Glue strength. The bonding performance mainly has three process parameters, namely time, temperature and pressure. How to use more and less adhesives also affects the formaldehyde emission index.
4. moisture content. Moisture content is an index reflecting the moisture content of blockboard. If the moisture content is too high or uneven, the product will be deformed, warped or uneven during use, which will affect the performance of the product. [2]
